Sauce Finder is built privacy-first. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or location. The only data stored on your device is your search history (Premium only) and your engine preferences.

How images are processed
When you submit an image for reverse search, it is uploaded to our image hosting server and auto-deleted after 10 minutes. The selected search engine (Google Lens, SauceNAO, TinEye, or Yandex) receives only that short-lived URL. We do not retain image bytes after expiration, and images are never used for training, advertising, or analytics.
Search history
Search history is saved locally on your device using iOS secure storage. It never leaves your phone. You can clear your history at any time from the app settings. Free users do not have search history saved.
Third-party engines
When you perform a search, your image is shared with the third-party engine you selected. Each engine has its own privacy policy: Google Lens, SauceNAO, TinEye, Yandex. We recommend reviewing them if you are concerned.
Analytics & ads
Free users see banner ads served via Apple's privacy-respecting ad network. We use anonymous, aggregated crash reports to improve stability — no personal identifiers are attached. Premium users see no ads and can opt out of crash reporting.
Payments
All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Subscriptions can be managed and cancelled from your Apple ID settings at any time.
